The Park Slope 7th Ave BID will provide needed services that create a cleaner environment for visitors and residents while providing a safe environment to which all people coming through the neighborhood. Promotion of the 7th Ave businesses will allow the BID to advocate for all business and property owners as well as other city investments that will result in higher revenue and economic prosperity.

The Park Slope Civic Council is honored to endorse enthusiastically the initiative to create a Seventh Avenue Business Improvement District (BID). It is clear to us that creating a BID is the best way to ensure the maintenance and attractive- ness of Seventh Avenue and to encourage visitors and shoppers. The experience of the nearby North Flatbush BID and Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID shows how an energetic organization can improve commerce and street life.
